David Simard holds a bachelor's degree in jazz performance from the University of Sherbrooke where he studied drums with Paul Brochu. Drummer in different shows for Québec Issime productions for four years, he was recruited by the Cirque du Soleil scouts during a performance in Montréal. This is how a multi-year adventure on the roads of the world begins on the tour of Alegria .
Returning to Canada in 2010, David turned to teaching music to high school and music school kids. He is one of the founders of the Blueberry Grass Band and since 2018 has represented Canada at Epcot Park in Orlando.
Inhabited and passionate about music, he is part of multiple projects, and participates in the development of shows of all kinds while crisscrossing various roads.
