Bruno Ouellet

Bruno Ouellet offers the creation of an interstellar journey, a work of science fiction inspired by space and progressive music. By integrating various sound technologies (guitar effects, electronic processing) and alternative guitar tunings, Bruno's musical landscape takes advantage of multiple influences, ranging from jazz to progressive rock and heavy metal to offer colorful music including a narrative frame that recalls the great works of science fiction and brings a reflection on the future fate of humanity.

Bruno Ouellet is a multi-instrumentalist musician from La Baie. He has been playing guitar since the age of 7 and has also practiced other instruments for several years, including vocals, piano and bass. He likes to innovate on his instrument and does not hesitate to invent alternative tunings and to bring forth compositions of a variety of styles, ranging from world music to post-black metal. Bruno studied music at Collège d'Alma and has been involved in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean music scene since 2012. He has been heard in the regional groups Dancing Dead (voice and bass), Dinosaurs Are Not Gone (eight-string guitar), Byzantium (voice and twelve-string guitar) and more recently Groovalos (voice and guitar).
