Constantin Monfilliette is a self-taught electronic music producer, disc jockey, collector of vinyl records and a fervent lover of the fourth art for over ten years. He is content producer at the Centre d'Expérimentation Musicale but also president of the collective "La belle étoile", founded in 2017 with three of his friends with the aim of promoting the electronic scene in his hometown of Lille in France.
He has a varied technical and artistic background, starting with studying architecture where he develops group work and project management from its genesis until its realization. He worked for two years as a cultural mediator for the CROUS of Valenciennes and for the IUT of Lens, where he ensures the creation and promotion of artistic, musical and above all, unifying events.
He obtained his University Technological Diploma in Multimedia and Internet Professions in 2018 during his exchange program at the UQAC, then did his final internship at the Centre d'Expérimentation Musicale. To complete his self-taught training in computer-assisted music production (MAO), he took private lessons with Jean-Patrice Rémillard, known and recognized in the profession for almost thirty years now, director of the "Archipel Musique Canada" label.
He won twice the springboard organized by the Lille organization "Six heures avant minuit", which gave him the opportunity to perform alongside internationally renowned artists like Folamour or La Mverte in key presentation places: l'Aéronef and the Bistrot of the Gare St Sauveur (Lille). He also won the springboard organized by "Soundlux Festival" in 2017. He has performed in DJ set or live some sixty times in 3 years; in France, Belgium and Canada, in yoga festivals (Shiva Lingam), electronic music (Secret Events), in clubs (Le Polygon, La Relève, Le Baron, The Box, Le Cabaret des Artistes) in bars (Couleur Café, Workshop Café, Bibovino, Fridge, Modjo, Circus, Bar Parallèle, Bar à Pitons, Appartement Bar Ambiance, la Cuisine), for the Fête de l'Art (le Lobe, 2019) or at the programming launch party of the Festival des Musiques de Création (2019). His tastes and musical culture are also rich and varied, with a particular attention for avant-garde electronic music.
